On February 19, 2024, 43-year-old Contravia Lamond Jackson was fatally shot in Hueytown, Alabama. At approximately 2 a.m., Hueytown police responded to a report of a person shot at a residence in the 200 block of June Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found Jackson deceased in the front seat of a vehicle parked in the driveway.
