Mahogany Jackson, a 20-year-old mother from Jasper, Alabama, was found dead on February 26, 2024, in a remote area of Birmingham, Alabama. Her body was discovered by a witness at around 2:19 a.m. on the side of the road at 17th Street SW and Laurel Avenue, in an isolated area near a residential neighborhood.
