Death by Force

On April 28, 2016, 23-year-old Jasmine Lashenay Nixon was fatally shot in Center Point, Alabama. The incident occurred in the 500 block of 16th Terrace NW, where Nixon, accompanied by several individuals, went to confront the family of a boy who had upset her younger sister. Upon arrival, Nixon forced her way into the residence, leading to an altercation during which she was shot in the chest. She was transported to UAB Hospital, where she later succumbed to her injuries.
