In the late hours of a Sunday evening in Bessemer, Alabama, tragedy struck Franklin James Walker, a 37-year-old man. It was just before midnight on May 12, 2024, when Walker was walking on 19th Street North. In the 1000 block of the street, he was hit by a vehicle in what has been described as a vehicle versus pedestrian accident.
