On March 29, 2023, the Sylacauga Police Department responded to a call regarding a body found behind a vacant house near the intersection of South Main Avenue and East Park Street in Sylacauga, Alabama. Upon arrival, officers discovered 26-year-old Tony Jaquez Keith, a local resident, deceased from a single gunshot wound to his upper body.
