On the evening of June 23, 2021, 46-year-old Bradford Franklin Isbell was fatally shot outside a residence on Harper Springs Road in Sylacauga, Alabama. Responding to a 10:00 p.m. call, Sylacauga Police officers discovered Isbell deceased at the scene. Inside the home, they found 32-year-old Rachel Elizabeth Hayes suffering from multiple gunshot wounds; she was promptly airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham for treatment.
