On October 9, 2023, 55-year-old Parul Jani was tragically killed in a head-on collision in Hoover, Alabama. The incident occurred around 6:00 p.m. on Valleydale Road near the Interstate 65 overpass. A Ford Expedition, driven by 44-year-old Roger Maurice Jones, was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes when it collided head-on with a Toyota Camry.
