The caller reported discovering two unresponsive individuals inside an apartment at The Park at Hoover. When officers arrived at the scene, they were met with a tragic sight. Blakeley Nelson and another woman, 39-year-old Lauren Anne White, were found shot to death. Both women were residents of the apartment complex, and their sudden and violent deaths sent ripples of fear and sorrow through the community.

Daxton Elliot Keith, a 21-year-old man from the nearby city of Alabaster, was identified as an acquaintance of the victims.
