Death by Force

On October 1, 2022, 24-year-old Blakeley Meachelle "Byrd" Nelson was found deceased in her apartment at The Park at Hoover complex in Hoover, Alabama. A 911 call received just before 8 a.m. reported two individuals possibly dead inside the residence. Upon arrival, officers discovered Nelson and 39-year-old Lauren Anne White, both residents of the complex, unresponsive with apparent gunshot wounds.
