On November 3, 2023, 27-year-old Deandre Lamar Hayes was found deceased from apparent gunshot wounds outside a residence in the 600 block of Jerry D. Coleman Street in Fairfield, Alabama. Deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office responded to the scene around 4:40 p.m., where Hayes was pronounced dead.
