On December 1, 2020, 21-year-old Tykeia Marquise Daniels was fatally shot at a BP gas station located at 5601 EJ Oliver Boulevard in Fairfield, Alabama. The incident occurred around 10:31 a.m., when Daniels was struck by gunfire. He was transported to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:19 a.m.
