In the spring of 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace of a Fairfield, Alabama park, tragically cutting short the life of 24-year-old DeAngelo Dwayne Poole. On the evening of Tuesday, April 27th, Poole was at the park when the shooting erupted, leaving him fatally wounded and injuring four other individuals. The violent incident prompted calls from concerned residents for an increased police presence in the area to ensure public safety.
