On June 10, 2016, 26-year-old Parnell Joseph Jones IV was fatally shot in Fairfield, Alabama. The incident occurred on the 5100 block of Myron Massey Boulevard, where Jones was found in his car with gunshot wounds. He was transported to UAB Hospital but succumbed to his injuries.
