On April 27, 2021, DeAngelo Dwayne Poole, a 24-year-old Black male, was with friends in the 200 block of Glen Crest Drive in Fairfield, Alabama. During their gathering, an unknown assailant fired multiple shots at the group, resulting in several individuals being struck. Tragically, DeAngelo was hit multiple times and succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
