Detectives are seeking public assistance to gather information about a double homicide that took place on Saturday, September 3, 2022, in the 100 Block of 3rd Avenue West, resulting in the deaths of Jalen Tolbert and Marquse Yarbrough.

At approximately 9:20 PM, officers from the North Precinct were dispatched to the 100 Block of 3rd Avenue West following multiple alerts from the ShotSpotter system. The initial report indicated multiple gunshots fired.
