On August 11, 2022, at approximately 10:40 PM, Birmingham Police Department officers responded to a shooting report at a residence in the 2300 block of 20th Place Ensley. Upon arrival, they discovered 30-year-old Cheyanne Maria Wilson unresponsive inside the home, suffering from a gunshot wound. Simultaneously, officers found 41-year-old Reginald Jerome Reynolds lying unresponsive in a yard across the street, also with a gunshot wound.
