On April 11, 2023, 20-year-old Tyler D'King Andrews was fatally shot outside a convenience store in the 2000 block of Dartmouth Avenue in Bessemer, Alabama. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m., and Andrews was transported to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced dead approximately an hour later.
