On January 16, 2023, at approximately 9:45 p.m., Anniston Police Department officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 5100 block of McClellan Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered 43-year-old Carlos Miller suffering from gunshot wounds. Miller was transported to Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
