On September 21, 2022, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Anniston Police Department officers responded to a disturbance call in the 4000 block of Bynum Leatherwood Road in Anniston, Alabama. Upon arrival, they learned that 54-year-old James D. Livingston had been transported to Stringfellow Hospital by a personal vehicle after sustaining stab wounds. Due to the severity of his injuries, Livingston was later airlifted to UAB Hospital in Birmingham, where he succumbed to his injuries.
