On a summer evening in Talladega, Alabama, the life of 19-year-old Kelis Cook was tragically cut short. On July 28, 2022, officers responded to a call of shots fired on E. Brignoli Street. Arriving at the scene, they discovered a harrowing sight. Inside a silver Nissan Altima, Kelis Cook was found in the front passenger seat, having sustained multiple gunshot wounds. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
