David Desmond, a 17-year-old from Birmingham, Alabama, was fatally shot on the night of December 5, 2021. The incident occurred around 10:20 p.m. on Fulton Avenue Southwest. Responding to reports of gunfire, Birmingham police found Desmond lying unresponsive in the street, having sustained gunshot wounds. Emergency personnel pronounced him dead on the scene.
