In the late summer of 2015, a violent encounter in Birmingham, Alabama, set in motion a chain of events that would ultimately claim the life of Andre Feliciano Waters. A 45-year-old Black man, Waters was at the Kingston Grocery on the 800 block of 44th Place North on the afternoon of August 27th.
