On a Saturday evening, June 5, 2021, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace at a Circle K gas station near Roebuck Plaza in Birmingham, Alabama, forever altering the lives of several families. Rikki D'Unri Christopher Bynum, a 27-year-old male, and his longtime friend, Joseph Demetrice Robinson, aged 25, were fatally shot in what authorities described as a targeted attack stemming from an ongoing dispute.
