On February 2, 2019, 36-year-old Christopher Lawson was fatally shot in Birmingham, Alabama. The incident occurred around 8:30 p.m. in the 6100 block of Grove Avenue in the Roosevelt City neighborhood. Lawson was found unresponsive on the side of the road next to his motorcycle and was pronounced dead at the scene by Birmingham Fire and Rescue personnel.
