On May 30, 2021, at approximately 3:00 PM, 23-year-old Kortnei Kelvontae Mills was found deceased from multiple gunshot wounds at the Legacy at Country Club Apartments in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Investigations revealed that a group of individuals had coordinated an assault targeting Mills.
