On January 1, 2020, 49-year-old Carla Fluker Mack was fatally shot in her Lake View, Alabama, residence. Authorities reported that her ex-boyfriend, 57-year-old Carl Evans Boyd, entered her home around 5 p.m. and proceeded to her bedroom, where he shot her multiple times.
