On January 7, 2023, a 21st birthday celebration at Legacy Events in Huntsville, Alabama, turned tragic when a shooting erupted, resulting in the deaths of 20-year-olds Quantasia Grant and Kaitlyn Jenkins. The incident also left 11 others injured, with three in critical condition. Investigators recovered over 200 shell casings from the scene, indicating multiple firearms were used both inside and outside the venue.
