On August 31, 2019, 41-year-old Hassan Mallette was fatally shot during a domestic dispute at his residence in Birmingham, Alabama. Around 3:50 p.m., officers from the West Precinct responded to a report of a person shot at 5720 Court O. Upon arrival, they found Mallette suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to UAB Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by medical staff.
