On the evening of September 20, 2022, at approximately 9:50 PM, Birmingham Police Department officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 1700 block of Aspen Run, located within the Adona Apartments complex. Upon arrival, officers discovered 19-year-old Stephen Lawrence Scott Jr. unresponsive inside a vehicle, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. A second adult male victim was also found at the scene with non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to UAB Hospital for treatment. ...Read More
