On the night of September 2, 2024, a violent incident occurred at the University Crossings Apartments in Birmingham, Alabama. At approximately 10:49 p.m., South Precinct officers responded to reports of a burglary in progress at the 200 block of 3rd Avenue SW. Upon arrival, they discovered multiple victims suffering from gunshot wounds.
