On the evening of July 15, 2019, 28-year-old Shaneia Causwell was fatally shot during a triple shooting incident at her residence in Birmingham, Alabama. The altercation began when uninvited guests arrived at Causwell's home on Sixth Way NW in the East Pinson Valley community. When asked to leave, the individuals opened fire, resulting in Causwell's death and injuries to two of her relatives.
