On a tragic Monday evening in Birmingham, Alabama, 26-year-old Tamaiya Morton's life was cut short in a fatal shooting. The incident unfolded just after 6 p.m. on March 7, 2022, in the Kingston housing community. First responders were called to the 900 block of 46th Place North where they discovered a vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole.
