A 26-year-old Hoover man was shot to death this morning in west Birmingham, police said this afternoon.West Precinct officers were flagged down by a person just before 2 a.m. while they were on patrol in the 1100 block of Third Avenue West.
The officers found Antonio Vidal on the ground suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. A car Vidal apparently drove to the location was parked nearby.
