On a Sunday night in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the life of a young African-American man, Fredon Teamer, was tragically cut short. On September 22, 2013, the 24-year-old was shot and killed in the 4700 block of W. Hopkins Avenue. The incident, which also resulted in the wounding of a 23-year-old man, cast a somber shadow over the community. At the time, the second victim was reported to be in stable condition.
