Shyir McCoy, a 16-year-old boy from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was fatally shot on June 2, 2024. The incident occurred just before 6:30 p.m. near the intersection of 38th and Meinecke Avenue. McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene, marking another tragic loss of young life to gun violence in the city.
