On Christmas Eve of 2020, a season typically marked by peace and goodwill was shattered by violence in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, leading to the tragic death of Louie J. Johnson, a 47-year-old Black/African American man. In an act of courage, Johnson intervened in a domestic violence dispute unfolding in the 1200 block of E. Singer Circle.
