On the evening of August 19, 2022, a sense of unease settled over a Milwaukee neighborhood as gunshots shattered the evening calm. When police arrived at the scene near 39th and Lloyd, they discovered the body of Tameron Larry, a 35-year-old Black male. He had been fatally shot shortly after 7 p.m. in what appeared to be a sudden act of violence. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office was called to the scene and officially pronounced him deceased.
