In the early morning hours of June 19, 2025, a burst of gunfire shattered the quiet near Hopkins and Fairmount in Milwaukee, claiming the life of 23-year-old Jerome D. Waring. The fatal encounter unfolded around 6:10 a.m., leaving another young man, aged 19, wounded but alive to recount the harrowing event.
