In the cold of a Milwaukee winter, a burst of violence on January 20, 2017, forever altered the course of a young man's life. Christopher O. Walton, a 27-year-old Black / African American male, was shot at the intersection of 21st and Hopkins Street. For ten months, he fought for his life, a testament to his resilience, before succumbing to the grave injuries he sustained.
