On June 4, 2016, Diamond Webb, a 31-year-old from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, lost his life to gun violence. He was one of the two victims in a double homicide that also claimed the life of his best friend, Westley Thaddeus Barksdale, known as Thadd.

The bodies of the victims were discovered in separate locations. Diamond Webb's body was found in a trash can, while Westley Barksdale's body was discovered in the trunk of a car.
