Kevin “Bubbs” Lewis, a 39-year-old Black male from Milwaukee, was gravely wounded just after midnight on July 12, 2025, during a burst of gunfire along the 600 block of North Water Street near the ELMNT Lounge. Five people were shot; two did not survive. Lewis was identified by family and friends and died at a hospital later that morning, while 52-year-old Antwan “Tweezy” Hogans died at the scene.
