Victor Banks, 38, male, Black, was shot late on July 2, 2023, after gunfire erupted near the 1900 block of North 6th Street in Milwaukee; he was found a block south on the 600 block of West Vine Street and died from his injuries.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified him as the victim, and local coverage confirmed the time and place of the shooting as just before midnight on July 2.
