Jacquise M. Harris, a 24-year-old Black man, was fatally shot on the night of August 30, 2021, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The gunfire erupted at approximately 9:35 p.m. near North 24th Place and West Capitol Drive. Officers responding to the area found Harris suffering from serious gunshot wounds. Emergency personnel transported him to a local hospital, but his injuries proved fatal, and he was pronounced dead after arriving for treatment.
