In the late afternoon of February 3, 2014, a tragic encounter unfolded in the 2800 block of W. Kilbourn Avenue in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, that would end the life of 22-year-old Bruce Lloyd Jr., a Black/African American male. What began as a prearranged meeting for a marijuana transaction quickly escalated into a fatal armed robbery. The young man had agreed to meet 20-year-old Johnnie Wesley, unaware that Wesley had arrived with the intention of robbing him.
