An arguement turns deadly In the summer of 1993, a young life was tragically cut short on a street in Virginia Beach. On the evening of July 14th, police responded to reports of gunfire in the 3700 block of Mainsail Court, within the Twin Canal apartment complex. Arriving at the scene at approximately 10:30 p.m., they discovered 19-year-old Dedric Mason, a Black male, suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head. He was swiftly transported to a local hospital, but his injury proved to be fatal.
