In the early morning hours of November 2, 2003, a party at the American Legion Post 82 in Saluda, Virginia, took a fatal turn. Stephen Lamont Roye, a 26-year-old Black or African American male, was in attendance at the large gathering located at 192 Watson Landing Road.
