Claiborne Lynn Turner, aged 59, was found dead on January 10, 2016, at his residence in Axton, Virginia. Turner, who was born on September 11, 1956, in Eden, North Carolina, was a U.S. Army veteran and a self-employed landscaper. He was also a member of St. Paul Holiness Church. His body was discovered by family members who had not heard from him for over 24 hours. Upon arriving at the scene, deputies from the Henry County Sheriff's Office found Turner with a gunshot wound.
