William Jason Roberts, aged 41, tragically lost his life on June 25, 2024, in Axton, Virginia. He was a retired United States Marine and resided in Roanoke. On the evening of the incident, deputies from the Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call at approximately 9:30 p.m. regarding a shooting in the 400 block of River Ridge Road.
