Noel Navarro-Pena, aged 33, was tragically found dead on June 28, 2014, in Axton, Virginia. His death was part of a double homicide that also claimed the life of his brother, Alfonso Navarro-Pena, aged 40. The Henry County Sheriff's Office launched an investigation into the deaths, which shocked the local community. Noel was discovered with a gunshot wound in the parking lot of the Smith River Sports Complex early on the morning of June 28.
