Michael Preston Bown, a 24-year-old deliveryman, was tragically killed on September 2, 1971, during a robbery at Natters' Market in Salt Lake City, Utah. While delivering bread to the store, Bown was confronted by an armed man who entered the market with the intent to rob it.
