On August 9, 2023, Marcus Garcia, a 36-year-old man, was fatally shot in West Valley City, Utah. The incident occurred just after 11 p.m. in the area of 4200 S. Bluebird Circle, near Bangerter Highway. Garcia was found dead in the street with a gunshot wound to his face.
